Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Arvada, CO. The role is contractual for the current school year (CSY) and includes part-time hours to accommodate work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to K-5 and middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in meetings and evaluations as required
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a minimum of CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid school-based licensure or certifications relevant to this position
- Pending Certified Disability Evaluators (CDE) will be considered
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and work independently
